Presenting my work history at TUUCI.

For almost four years, it has been my privilege to hold the position of Senior Graphic Designer at this great company. Throughout that time, I successfully managed an ever-increasing amount of tasks and responsibilities. Thanks to this, I have grown professionally, not only in the field of design but also in the field of marketing. Today I’m able to manage several projects simultaneously, achieving each goal assigned to me, often before the deadlines.

In my experience working with several teams, I have always found that taking the lead with a positive attitude helps achieve the best results. My commitment to the team helps me to be proactive and strive to grow every day. With the group of professionals I currently work with, I intend to take this company to the next level.

Today I am focused on growing even more professionally. This article analyzes the goals I set four years ago in comparison to where I am today. It also discusses my future plans at TUUCI and how they will contribute to the success of the company.


 

The Beginning

My first steps were mostly focused on digital design. I developed banner campaigns, email communications, and even some web design. I was also involved in many printing projects.

Below are the key points of my job description for the position I hold today.

Essential Duties:

  • Design and execution of marketing collateral across print and digital mediums.

  • Ensure all visual communications are up to date, and reflective of current brand goals and corporate culture.

  • Translate corporate ad campaigns into multi-channel use scenarios, including Social Media, Email Campaigns, Website Landing Pages and more.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

  • Strong, color correction, retouching and typography skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and file management skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Have a great curiosity relating to all things design and technology.


 

Currently

I continue to manage all types of digital and print projects, photography and video production, and file organization within the server. I’ve also enjoyed working on large projects such as cocktail books, cookbooks, and customer service videos. 

Additionally, I have several other essential duties as you will see described below. 

Essential Duties:

  • Design and execution of marketing collateral across print and digital mediums.

  • Ensure all visual communications are up to date, and reflective of current brand goals and corporate culture.

  • Translate corporate ad campaigns into multi-channel use scenarios, including Social Media, Email Campaigns, Website Landing Pages and more.

  • Keep the main Marketing Server and Bynder updated and organized.

  • Complete all types of photography projects inside and outside the company, ranging from product photos with studio lighting to lifestyle photos with models.

  • Coordinate with production to assist with product handling for photoshoots. This involves moving and setting up the product.

  • Maintain an understanding of the product to be able to assemble, disassemble, and install it for photo and video sessions.

  • Ensure all work materials in the photography area are organized and updated.

  • Direct, record, and edit videos for all required projects.

There are also other significant points to mention. For several months, I worked with a subordinate (Nicolas Bolger) to successfully meet all the objectives on several projects, demonstrating my potential in project management. Another big accomplishment was having the opportunity to work with Soren Christianse to develop an optimal file management system for the server. I also had the privilege of working on two recipe books for holiday gifts. 


 

The Future

Professional growth has always been important to me. For this reason and based on the conversation in mid-December regarding my work perspective, I believe that the following ideas could help me to evolve at TUUCI and continue to promote the growth of the company:

  • Increase my essential duties to include managing, updating, and creating new content for the website, and working closely with the programmer.

  • Allow me to assume full responsibility for updating and organizing the marketing server, minimizing search times for the entire team, and guaranteeing the availability of all content.

  • Constantly improve the user experience and usability of the website interface. This might require passing UX/UI school.

  • Focus on learning 3D modelling, depending on the needs.

  • Increase my responsibilities to include managing one or two designers to cover more tasks.

  • Consider moving me to a position in the new PAVILION company to take on more responsibility in a new team.

In conclusion, I believe that my proficiency in a wide variety of marketing areas adds value to my performance in this company. Having almost four years of experience has given me versatile knowledge and the ability to make proficient use of time. 

This new path reopens the doors to my career and solidifies my position in the company. I am willing and eager to continue learning in order to contribute more each day to the needs of the business.
